Maryland School for the Blind

Over the past 4 years, the Maryland School for the Blind (MSB) has completed a new state-of-the-art Learning Activity Center and residential cottages for students with multiple disabilities served in the Learning in Functional Environments (LIFE) Program. The Leonard Kraus Company completed and installed all of the LGMF on the buildings.The project's first two buildings, the 32,000 square foot Academic Building and the 26,000 square foot Cottage Building on the campus of Maryland School for the Blind were completed in 2016. In 2017, the Preschool Building and the Russo Cafe Renovation were completed. In late 2017, work will begin on the renovations for Newcomer, Case and Campbell Halls. Leonard Kraus Company has worked in successful partnership on all of these projects under the construction management firm, Lewis Contactors (www.lewis-contractors.com).
