The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at McHenry Row
The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel at McHenry Row in Baltimore, MD is approximately 82,500 square feet. The fast-growing development is very well known due to its prime location near the Fort McHenry Tunnel right off of Key Highway. This area offers a very unique urban environment and gives a welcoming feel to Baltimore.
The Courtyard by Marriott Hotel was a panelized job by the Leonard Kraus Co. It consisted of 9,000 linear feet of structural wall panels pre-fabricated in our very own panel shop. Having our own panel shop not only provides a safe and more productive environment for our workers, but it also benefits the job’s schedule. The Marriott Hotel at McHenry Row was one of the first projects where our workers installed metal decking for the concrete slab. The corrugated metal decking bore directly on our panelized structural wall panels. Once the structural aspect of this building was completed, Leonard Kraus Co. moved on into the finishing stages of the job which included drywall, acoustical metal slatted ceilings, and a suspension system.
